Here are basics you will need in playing The Gate by Spicy Horse.
Card Parts
Unit Type
Can be found on the upper right Corner.
= Melee attack - Close ranged attacks.
= Ranged attack - Long ranged attacks.
=Cleric / Healer - Does not attack. Supports other Demons.
There are 4 elements a monster can belong to.
Earth
Wind
Fire
Water
Rarity
The number of stars on the upper left corner of a card shows you its value/rarity.
One Star : Common
Two Stars : Uncommon
Three Stars : Rare
Four Stars : Super Rare
Card Level
Card level shows you the current level of your monster. Max levels are set at multiples of 5 (5,10,15, etc)
Max Levels:
One Star : Level 10
Two Stars : Level 15**
Three Stars : Level 20**
Four Stars : Level 25**
** - will need Evolving (Evolve Guide)
Evolve Level
Shows the number of times a card has been evolved.
One Star : N/A
Two Stars : Can be Evolved once to raise max level to 15***
Three Stars : Can be Evolved twice to raise max level to 20***
Four Stars : Can be Evolved thrice to raise max level to 25***
*** - will need additional card of the same evolve level
Main Screen
Game Basics
Movement : Drag your monster to the target position or place. Red movement cursor will appear.
Attacking : Drag your monster to the target enemy. Red target cursor will appear.
Casting Skills : Press on the skill of your choice and skill target cursor will appear.
Auto / Manual toggle : Press on Auto button on the upper right hand corner.
