J-Stars Victory VS Update!

Issue number 43 of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine announced last week that characters from the comedy manga Pyu to FUku! Jaguar and Chinyūki -Tarō to Yukaina Nakama-tachi are joining the lineup of Namco Bandai Games J-Stars Victory VS, the all star anime team battle fighting game.




Jaguar Junichi and Yamada Tarō will be in the roster with their battlecry "Laughter is Power."

The magazine hinted that Chinyūki -Tarō to Yukaina Nakama-tachi's character Babaa will also appear. Also this issue gave a glimpse of one of jaguar's special attack, the Ramen Attack.

Other special moves that the previous issues of the magazine has already shown are Naruto's "Shadow Clone," Monkey D'Luffy's "Gum Gum Stamp,"  Toriko's "Nail Punch," Goku's "Kamehameha," Yūsuke's "Spirit Gun," and Gon's "Janken Gū." Hopefully there will be more special moves per character that can be used.

Reading from forums and other blogs most anime fans are requesting more characters to be added. Some of the most notable characters being requested are Yoh Asakura (Shaman King,) Hao Asakura (Shaman King,) Ippo Makunouchi (Hajime No Ippo,) Kirito (Sword Art Online,) Hisoka (Hunter X Hunter,) Vash Stampede (Trigun,) Recca Hanabishi(Flame of Recca,) Lupin (Lupin III,) Zenki (Zenki,) and L (Death Note.) Some of the weirdest characters being requested are Hanamichi Sakuragi (Slam Dunk,) Eikichi Onisuka (GTO,) and Eyeshield 21 / Sena Kobayakawa (Eyeshield 21)

Another common request is for another game, DOA-style fighting game for all the famous anime girls (mostly males are requesting for this one, I would like to think.) Imagine Sakura (Naruto Shippuden) fighting against Asuna (Sword Art Online) or Rukia (Bleach) against Aira Kirisawa (Flame of Recca.) DAMN!

DOA (Dead or Alive) Paradise style game would also be exciting. Seeing Fujiko (Lupin III) play volleyball with Nami (One Piece) and Faye Valentine (Cowboy Bebop) as well as the girls of "Ikki Tousen" and "Tenjou Tenge." RIGHT?!

Hopefully a gaming company finds interest in these ideas and fulfill the request of many anime fans. ^_^
