The Gate is a role playing, real time strategy card game from Spicy Horse. It is described as "Pokemon in hell." In this game you will need to fight demon armies (in single player mode )or teams (in PvP mode.) You will need to level up your demons, upgrade their skills and stats so you can conquer both the PvE and PvP modes of the game.
In the single player mode, players venture through the layers of hell and fight armies of monsters and demons. The goal is to defeat the bosses of hell, defeat them, and claim the title of the most awesome demon master. In the player versus player mode, players will battle each other in arenas for bonus coins, items and rare cards.
The Gate can be played using your computer, or your mobile phone (supported by both android and iOS.)
The Gate requires players to be strategic on two aspects : in building their deck and in their battle plan. The deck building element follows the format of traditional card games. Players will be able to obtain cards from battles and special events. These demons can be leveled up through sacrificing other cards. Also, combining 2 cards of the same demon can create a stronger version of that demon(see Evolve guide). Each card/demon has a different skill set, which allows players to create a combo both for PvE and PvP modes. there are also special events wherein you'll encounter stronger and faster demons for rewards such as energy potions, cards, crystals, Devil blood, etc. You can also add friends to get special cards and items that can help you get through the game.
